Austin’s has been the Colorado-flavored family dinner of Fort Collins for years, and the Harmony Road location is the one for the south side: roasts and chicken cooked over an open flame, all-natural bison, cornbread baked in iron skillets and served with honey butter, cocktails sweetened with fresh-squeezed juice and desserts baked daily. Half a Red Bird rotisserie chicken is $22.95, the bison burger $19.95, the bison stirrup steak $29.95, the Colorado cheeseburger $17.95 and the skillet cornbread $7.95. The original is at 100 W Mountain Ave in Old Town (970-224-9691), same hours.
