New Belgium Brewing

The Fat Tire brewery's home taproom on Linden Street, open daily noon to 8: Fat Tire, IPAs, sours and non-alcoholic beers on tap, a different food truck every day, brewery tours by booking and a lawn for the big events.

Founded in 1991 by Jeff Lebesch, who came home from a bicycle tour of Belgian breweries and made Fat Tire, this is the brewery that put Fort Collins on the beer map; it is a certified B Corporation and still says it was “born on a bike.” The taproom at 500 Linden pours Fat Tire beside IPAs, sours and non-alcoholic options, and a food truck is parked outside every day, anything from barbecue to sushi to tacos.

Tours are booked ahead on the website, and the grounds take private events. The hours page lists date-by-date changes and holiday closures, so check it before a special trip.
