Poudre River Trail
The City's 12.3-mile paved trail along the Cache la Poudre from North Overland Trail to East Drake Road, part of the regional trail that runs from Bellvue to Timnath. Restrooms and water at Lee Martinez, Heritage and Buckingham parks.
The paved trail that follows the river across the north side of the city, 12.3 miles within Fort Collins from North Overland Trail to East Drake Road, and part of the regional Poudre River Trail that runs all the way from Bellvue to Timnath. It passes the natural areas along the river, connects to CSU’s Environmental Learning Center, and meets the Spring Creek Trail where that trail reaches the river east of Timberline Road. Restrooms and drinking water at Lee Martinez, Old Fort Collins Heritage and Buckingham parks.
The easiest place to get on from Old Town is Lee Martinez Park on North Sherwood Street, which connects directly to the trail. Open 5 am to 11 pm, the same hours as the parks.
