The University Center for the Arts is the old Fort Collins High School on Remington Street, remade as the home of CSU’s School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. Inside are Griffin Concert Hall, the Organ Recital Hall, the University Theatre, a studio theatre and a dance theatre, and the Gregory Allicar Museum of Art; the Avenir Museum is in the east wing on Lake Street. The school puts on more than 250 performances and exhibitions a year, many of them free and most of the rest $15 or less for adults; the ticket office is (970) 491-ARTS. Free two-hour parking on the streets around the building, paid parking in the lot behind it on Pitkin Street.
