Spring Canyon Community Park
The big park under the foothills at Horsetooth Road and Overland Trail, home of the adaptive Inspiration Playground and its splash pad, a dog park, a skate park and bike pump track, the Veterans Plaza of Northern Colorado and the west end of the Spring Creek Trail.
Inspiration Playground, an adaptive playground and one of the most popular in the city, with a splash pad of touch-sensor spouts and fountains beside it (9 am to 7 pm, seven days a week). Around it: a dog park, a skate park and bike pump track, ball fields and turf fields, tennis, basketball, volleyball, horseshoe pits, a fitness course, sport courts for pickleball with your own net, a reservable shelter, and the Veterans Plaza of Northern Colorado. The Spring Creek Trail starts here. Two lots off Horsetooth Road by the playground and dog park and a third off Overland Trail on the northwest side. Open daily 5 am to 11 pm.
