CSU Flower Trial Garden

The university's test garden across from the University Center for the Arts: more than a thousand varieties of annuals in bloom from late May through October, free and open every day in daylight.

A working trial garden where growers’ new annuals are planted out and judged against each other in the High Plains climate, which for a visitor means a city block of flower beds at their showiest from late May through October, beside the University Center for the Arts on Remington Street. The perennial beds are there year round and cool-season plantings carry into early spring. Open daily to the public in daylight hours, free. The department of horticulture runs it; the gazebo can be reserved for weddings.
